I was born in Switzerland, where chocolate is treated as a cultural art form — precise, refined, and deeply rooted in tradition. My wife was born in El Salvador, a land where cacao is heritage, history, and the living heart of community. Together, these worlds taught us to honor both the craft and the culture of chocolate.
Every bar we create is crafted using our Atelier 48 Signature Conche Method™, a slow, deliberate refinement process that unfolds over two full days. This extended conching allows the cocoa to develop exceptional smoothness, clarity, and depth — qualities that cannot be hurried, imitated, or engineered by shortcuts.
